Stud service, done the right way
We're not breeding our own litters yet, and we're glad to tell you why. Our first chapter is a stud one: once Arnold completes his full health testing, we'll offer him at stud to a small number of approved, health-tested dams. Our own litters come later. Here's exactly where we are.

Arnold at stud
Arnold is a boxy, even-tempered F1B Bernedoodle with the Bernese substance most families picture and the low-shedding coat genetics of the Poodle side. Once cleared, we'll make him available to a handful of carefully matched dams each year, never more than we can do right.

We're selective on purpose. We take on a small number of pairings we believe in, and we're happy to talk through fit long before there's a contract to sign.

What we ask of a dam
The same standard we hold Arnold to. These aren't hoops, they're how healthy puppies happen.
| Health testing | OFA hip, elbow, cardiac, and eye (CAER) clearances appropriate to the breed, plus a full genetic panel (Embark or equivalent). Results shared both ways. |

| Pre-breeding health | A current brucellosis test before every breeding, plus a general vet check confirming the dam is in good breeding condition. |
| Temperament | A sound, stable temperament. We're matching for structure and disposition, not just paperwork. |
| A written contract | Every pairing is covered by a stud contract that spells out terms, expectations, and responsibilities for both sides. |
Stud fee and specific terms are set per pairing and shared when you reach out. We'd rather have a real conversation about your dam than post a number and a checklist.

How this works
| Is Arnold available now? | Not yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. He stands at stud only once every clearance is in hand, earliest 2027 (OFA orthopedic certifications require a minimum age of 24 months). |

| Do you breed your own litters? | Not for the first few years. Stud service is our focus while the program is young. Our own litters come later, once our dam is fully cleared and the timing is right. |
